Description
This pamphlet outlines or summarizes the life of General Robert E. Lee, beginning with his early life and education and ending with his death. There are portraits and illustrations throughout the text. The cover has an orange background, and there is an illustration of Lee riding a horse in full military uniform on the right side of the cover. His name, "Robert E. Lee", is printed on a white rectangle above this illustration, and the remaining portion of the title, "The Beloved General", is printed in white text along the bottom of the cover.
