Description
A pamphlet that provides both current and historical information about Washington, D.C.. "This booklet has been published for the purpose of promoting a more general acquaintance with the Capital. An attempt has been made to present the historical background of the city's present greatness and to point out those places which are of especial interest to the visitor." The cover has an illustration of the Washington monument printed in color in the center, and the title is split above and below the illustration. A photo of Abraham Lincoln with banners above and below him reading "EX LIBRIS" and "C. E. SIMMONS" is on the inside of the cover.
