This pamphlet contains several recollections from Vincent as she grew up in Washington D.C. during the Civil War. Also attached is a verbatim account of the assassination and death of Abraham Lincoln as published in The Daily Morning Chronicle, Washington, D.C., Saturday morning, April 15, 1865. There is an image of Lincoln before the title page.
