Description

This pamphlet is a facsimile reproduction of the handwritten original and includes a new title page. In it, Lincoln briefly describes his birth, his family origins, and key points of his life. A sketch of the cabin where Lincoln was born is featured on the cover. Facsimile of the original manuscript attested by David Davis, Lyman Trumbull, and Charles Sumner (Washington, D.C., March 20, 1872).
