Description
This pamphlet is a letter or statement written "to the Editor of the Sentinel" of Milwaukee, Wisconsin regarding a statement about President Lincoln's original copy of the Emancipation Proclamation being burned in a recent issue. The full title shown at the top of the first page reads "Bulletin No. 46, Shepard Book Company 408 S. State Street Moxum Hotel Building Salt Lake City, Utah Original Lincoln Proclamation Burned. Reprinted from Milwaukee, Wis., Sentinel, of April 3, 1911." This full title and description occupies six lines at the top of the first page. "John E. Burton writes as follows to the editor of the Sentinel."
