Description
The stereograph features a black and white image of a small statue featuring Abraham Lincoln standing by a kneeling male slave with his proper left hand raised as he is about to emancipate the slave (a small replica of the much larger Emancipation Monument). In his proper right hand, which rests on a bronze podium, Lincoln holds an unrolled copy of the Emancipation Proclamation. The albumen print is mounted on a yellow card with squared corners.
