Description

The stereograph contains a black and white portrait of Reverend Henry Ward Beecher from the waist up. Beecher was a member of the clergy, a social reformer, and an abolitionist. He is also the brother of Harriet Beecher Stowe, who is famous for her role as an abolitionist and her novel Uncle Tom's Cabin. The image is on a yellow-colored paper card mount.
