    Description

The image contains a black and white image of Sears, Roebuck & Co.'s engine room, which contained a wall-length switchboard. Behind the switchboard there are approximately ten large windows. The image shows three men and what was at the time (according to information provided on the card) one of the largest switchboards ever constructed in a large room with high ceilings. The image is adhered to a cream-colored paper card mount, and the card's reverse contains additional documentary information.
