Description

The object is a photographic reproduction of an engraving that depicts Abraham Lincoln and his family. Abraham Lincoln is seated with a book at his lap. Mary, Tad, and Robert surround Lincoln. The engraving is a composite piece (possibly originally created by a painter named Carpenter in 1866) based on an 1864 Anthony Berger photograph of Lincoln and Tad looking through a Mathew Brady album.
