Description

The photograph features a black and white image of Frenchman's Hill, a volcanic spur located in Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas Island. Several buildings make up the image's foreground, and in the background, a waterway surrounded by hills is pictured. The image is mounted on an off-white sheet of paper that features handwritten documentary information. It was enclosed in a light-brown wood frame (which featured a sticker inscribed with the number 614) but was removed for preservation.
