1- As this program is being taped, you are preparing to go to Columbus Air Force Base on Friday with the Secretary of the Air Force, Sheila Widnall. Why is her visit to Columbus important?; 2- While in the golden Triangle, she will go to New Hope High School to see students using computer equipment provided by Columbus Air Force Base. You helped cut through the red tape to make this possible. Could you elaborate?; 3- An amendment to HR 6, the Elementary and Secondary Education Act has caused concern among parents who home school their children. It was aimed at requiring all public school teachers to be certified in the subjects they are teaching. But the language of the amendment is vague and could be interpreted to mean students in non-public schools. Will there be an effort to clarify this and exempt non-public schools from the requirement?
