Description

1- The Defense Department last week released a list of National Guard and Reserve units that would be deactivated around the country, but you said this was old news. What is the story on this?; 2- Mississippi was fortunate that the cuts for this year were minor, but a continued downward slide in defense spending could threaten facilities in the future. What is the feeling of the new congressional leadership about military spending? Is it likely to be increased in this upcoming session?; 3- Another issue that may get early attention is voluntary school prayer. You have long sponsored a constitutional amendment on school prayer but it hasn?╟╓t made it to the House floor for consideration in recent years. Is there momentum to pass it in the 104th Congress?
