1- The Defense Base Closure Commission had hearings on Capitol Hill this week and the future of Meridian Naval Air Station was discussed. What was your take on the hearings?; 2- You are one of the chief sponsors of legislation to protect the American Flag from desecration. A rally was held on the steps of the Capitol in support. What are prospects for this legislation in the 104th Congress?; 3- The House of Representatives has passed legislation that puts a moratorium on any new listings of animals and insects under the Endangered Species Act, until the act can be reauthorized and reformed. Did you support that effort?
