Description
1- It appears the President and Congressional leaders are going to work together to avoid the scenario of the government running out of money at the end of the fiscal year on September 30, the so called ?ǣtrain wreck.?ǥ Are you confident the parties can reach final agreement on these spending bills for fiscal year 1996?; 2- The fish hatchery in Meridian has been slated for either termination or to be turned over to the state of Mississippi, which would continue operations. What are the details on this?; 3- The House will give final approval this week to the FY 96 Military Appropriations bill. How did Mississippi facilities fare?; 4- The senate passed its welfare reform bill this past week. The Housed passed a reform plan earlier this year.
