1- You have joined with a group of House members in urging that the Congress consider capping the entitlement spending in efforts to cut the Federal deficit. What is the story on this?; 2- Later this week the Defense Base closure Commission will meet in Washington to consider adding other bases to the 1993 possible closure list. As the process has gone along, the commission has heard from communities like Meridian who have raised the possibility that other scenarios should be considered besides the Navy?╟╓s original recommendations. What do you think will happen at the hearing?; 3- You met this week with several moderate and conservative democrats on the House Armed Services Committee regarding the concern you have that we are cutting defense spending too much. What happened at the meeting?
