Description

This interview is with John R. Salter, Jr. of Grand Forks, North Dakota. Mr. Salter was involved in the civil rights movement in Mississippi from 1961 through 1963. He organized the Jackson Movement in 1962. Mr. Salter has been actively involved in community organizing efforts throughout his lifetime. Mr. Salter was allowed to review the transcript for accuracy.
