Description

Senator John C. Stennis at unidentifed location; talks of Cuban cave storage; Maj. Gen. Alva R. Fitc, the Army's top intelligence officer, poses with Chairman Stennis, before giving the Senat e Armeed Services Committee an evaluation of the current Cuban military situation. Gen. Fitch said that thousands of caves in Cuba probably are being used to store Soviet stocks of "ammunition, supplies, vehicles and even aircraft. Intelligence sources believe, he added, that the Soviets did remove all strategic missiles from the island.
