Description
Order to the Sherriff of Adams County, Mississippi, to seize the estate of Mary C. Bowman from Dvavid Wood. Among the property demanded by the writ were the following enslaved persons: Joe, Abraham, Elisha, Jude, Sinah, Eve, Nelson, Jerry, Jack, Harry, Eben, Tarlton, Moses and Elliot, of whom all but Elliot and Nelson were successfully seized.
