Transcription
Received of John Worthy my guardian the sum of three hundred and eight dollars and sixty cents, it being my part or portion in full of the Estate of my late Father, James Carson, deceased. and do hereby relinquish all my rights title and interests to a negro woman named Rache, about the age of fifty years to the said John Worthy for part of the above named consideration. Witness my hand and seal this 17th Feby 1837 Tests. S. Wood James M Carson
