Enslaved persons mentioned on the following pages: PAGE ONE [[…]] "for the hire of one negro man [[?]] during the balance of the year eighteen hundred and sixty" PAGE THREE On the Twenty-fifth day of December [[?]] or either of us promise to pay Miss. M. E. Daniel on order two-hundred and twenty-five dollars for the hire of one negro man Willis during the balance of the year eighteen hundred and sixty.
