Description

This handwritten letter, dated July 3, 1943, is written by Major Rollin S. Armstrong in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, to his wife, Rebecca Armstrong, in Tupelo, Mississippi. The letter discusses his travel to Oklahoma, his academics, settling in at Camp Gruber and the changes made there while he was gone, and news of their friends there. The envelope is postmarked Camp Gruber, Oklahoma, July 8, 1943.
