Description

This handwritten letter, dated October 22, 1943, is written by Rollin S. Armstrong from where he is stationed in North Africa, to his wife, Rebecca Armstrong, in Tupelo, Mississippi. The letter discusses the impending birth of their baby and asks after their friends. The letter is written on United States Army stationary with the eagle and shield logo in the top center. The envelop is postmarked U. S. Army Postal Services A. P. O., October 23, 1943 and the right edge of the envelope is ripped off.
