Description
This Appointment of Leader or Assistant Leader from the Office of the Director of Selective Service, appointed William Neil (W. N.) Bogan, Jr. as a leader of a contingent of selected men from Local Board No. 1 of Clay County, Mississippi. The appointment charges him with enforcement of Selective Service Regulations of the selected men enroute to Induction Stations during the journey from West Point, Miss. to Camp Shelby, Miss. The order is signed by the chairman of the local board. Instructions to Leader or Assistant Leader are included with the order and describes what is expected from an appointed leader or assistant leader.
