Description
This handwritten note, written on a U. S. Armed Forces postcard, is from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia to his father, W. N. Bogan, Sr. in Memphis, Tennessee. The note apologizes for his lack of correspondence and explains that he's been studying for exams. The note goes on to express his hope to get to go home for a visit the following weekend. The note is simply signed, "Buddy." The postcard is postmarked Lexington, VA, October 25, 1943 and the postage is designated as "free."
