Description

This handwritten letter, dated November 8, 1944, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. where he is stationed in England to his sister, Kay Bogan in Meridian, Mississippi. The letter informs her that it may be a while before he receives all his mail and asks her who won the election. He goes on to inform her that he's been to visit Liverpool and his reevaluated opinion of English people. A War and Navy Departments V--Mail Service envelope postmarked U. S. Postal Service No. 3, November 17, 1944 is included with the letter. The back of the envelope has some handwritten notations on it.
