Description

This postcard, dated April 17, 1944, is written from Mrs. R. W. Kennison in Raleigh, North Carolina to Catherine F. Bogan in West Point, Mississippi. The note informs Catherine that Mrs. Kennison and her family hosted W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. at the First Presbyterian Church annex the weekend of April 16th and how happy they are to do so for the men who visit their city. The card is postmarked Raleigh, North Carolina, April 19, 1944 and was printed with once cent postage. "Buy War Savings Bonds and Stamps" is ink stamped over the postage.
