Description

This handwritten letter, dated June 9, 1944, is written from W. N. Bogan Jr. Camp Butner, North Carolina to Juliette Chamberlin in Jackson, Mississippi. The letter thanks her for describing his sister's gradation to him and asks what her plans are for the summer. The letter goes on to describe some training he's been participating in and some upcoming inspections by the "big wigs." The letter is written on United States Army stationary with the eagle emblem in the top center of the page. The envelope is postmarked Camp Butner, North Carolina, June 9, 1944.
