Description

This handwritten letter, dated December 3, 1944, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. where he is stationed in England to his family in West Point, Mississippi. The letter describes all the letters and packages he's received and asks for address for people he knows. A program from the Liverpool Cathedral Thanksgiving Sunday is included with the letter. The air mail envelope is postmarked U. S. Army Postal Service, December 7, 1944 and a red six cents air mail postage stamp is in the upper right corner. An army examiner number is ink stamped in the lower left with a signature beneath it.
