Description
This handwritten letter, dated January 1, 1945, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. where he is stationed in France to his parents, W. N., Sr. and Catherine F. Bogan, in West Point, Mississippi. The letter discusses how he didn't end up pulling M. P. detail on Christmas and what he did instead. He goes on to describe the traveling he's been doing since getting to France and how wrecked the towns are in France. The letter goes on to speculate that the French don't seem to like the U. S. troops very much and the problems they're having with the language barrier. The letter is signed "All my love to each of you, Buddy." No envelope is included.
