Description
This handwritten letter, dated March 21, 1945, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. where he's stationed in France to his parents, W. N., Sr. and Catherine F. Bogan, in West Point, Mississippi. The letter expresses his excitement over all the packages he finally received. The letter goes on to discuss news from home. The letter is signed "My dearest love, Buddy." The air mail envelope is postmarked U. S. Army Postal Service, March 25, 1945 and includes a red six scent air mail postage stamp in the upper right. An Army examiner ink stamp is in the lower left with a signature beneath it.
