Description
This handwritten letter, dated March 21, 1945, is written from Tom B. Leslie in Athena, Georgia to Catherine F. Bogan in West Point, Mississippi. The letter discusses his training schedule, how he hopes the war will be over soon, and the news she had previously shared from home. The letter is signed "Lots of love, Tom B. Leslie." The letter is written on United States Army stationary and includes the address for Pfc. Jesse Dukeminier. The U. S. Naval Aviation envelope is postmarked Athens, Georgia, March 22, 1945 and the postage is designated as "free."
