Description

This handwritten letter, dated May 24, 1945, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. where he is stationed in Germany to his parents, W. N., Sr. and Catherine F. Bogan, in West Point, Mississippi. The letter explains that he's been away from the "outfit" for a few days and hasn't received any mail and describes a show a Russian from the Displaced Persons Center put on. The letter goes on to detail some of the jobs "the outfit" has had recently. The letter is signed "Devotedly, Buddy." The envelope is postmarked U. S. Army Postal Service, May 26, 1945 and a red six cent air mail postage stamp is placed in the upper right.
