Description

This handwritten letter, dated June 16, 1945, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. where he is stationed in Germany to his parents, W. N., Sr. and Catherine F. Bogan in West Point, Mississippi. The letter explains that he is at a replacement depot and not with "the outfit" so he is unable to receive his mail. The letter is signed "All my love to you, Buddy." The War and Navy Departments V-Mail Service envelope is postmarked U. S. Postal Service, No. 3, July 6, 1945.
