Description

This handwritten letter, dated May 21, 1943, is written from W. N. Bogan Jr. in St. Petersburg, Florida where he is stationed for training to his parents and family in West Point, Mississippi. The letter discusses what he assumes is happening at home, what he is doing in St. Petersburg, how hot the weather is, who he's received correspondence from. The letter goes on to describe some of his training exercises. the letter is written on U. S. Army Air Forces stationary with a blue wings in the top center. The envelope is postmarked Saint Petersburg, Florida, May 21, 1943 and a portion of the top right corner has been torn.
