Description
This handwritten letter, dated May 30, 1943, is written from W. N. Bogan Jr. in St. Petersburg, Florida where he is stationed for training to Juliette Chamberlin in Jackson, Mississippi. The letter explains that the camp is doing basic training in "about half the usual time" making it difficult to keep up with correspondence. The letter goes on to describe what his day of training typically involves and expresses his hopes to get a furlough in August. The letter is written on U. S. Army Air Forces stationary with a set of blue wings in the top center of the page.
