Description
This handwritten letter, dated June 9, 1943, is written from W. N. Bogan Jr. in St. Petersburg, Florida where he is stationed for training to his father in Memphis, Tennessee. The letter describes his activities and routine at camp and explains that he is in supplementary basic training. The letter goes on to inform his dad that he expects to be moved soon. The letter is written on U. S. Army Air Forces stationary with a set of blue wings in the top center of the page. The envelope is postmarked Saint Petersburg, Florida, Jun 11, 1943 and "Free" is handwritten in the space typically reserved for the postage stamp.
