    Description

    This set of documents include a Public Instrument of Protest filed and notarized on March 4, 1847, stating that payments had not been made on a note being held by Samuel Nicholson, Esquire, along with two copies of a promissory note stating that Isaac R. Wade would pay sums to James Brown by March 1, 1847. The second note is marked as paid by sale of Wade land on January 1, 1849.
