Description

This handwritten court document notifies the defendants, Samuel Laughman, Isaac Wade, James Payne, and Thompson B Shaw in a case brought against them by the State of Mississippi on the judgement of two thousand six hundred and ninety-six dollars and fifty-two cents per annum damages. The document goes on to describe the case and the judgement that was brought to the Jefferson County Circuit Court during the October 1848 term.
