Description
In this letter, dated April 5, 1947, Silas Buchanan writes to his infant niece, Harriet Ann Buchanan to tell her how excited he is for her birth, offers her advice on life, and fills her in on their family. The letter is written on Tupelo Daily Journal letterhead and an accompanying envelope, postmarked Tupelo, Mississippi with six postage stamps is included.
