Newspaper clipping from the Commercial Appeal, dated January 1, 1961, covers the difficulty facing farmers and the center photograph is of a group of Mississippi Extension agents at Stoneville, Mississippi inspecting new farming machinery. James Franklin Buchanan is one of the agents pictured.
