Description

In this letter, dated December 21, 1962, United States Senator John C. Stennis writes to Attala County Extension agent, James Franklin Buchanan to apologize for not being able to visit with him in Kosciusko in the Fall. He goes on to encourage Buchanan that he will continue to fight for the good of the people of Mississippi in the coming years and offers a handwritten "Merry Christmas". The letter is typed on United States Senate letterhead.
