Description

In this partial letter, dated November 21, 1948, Marion E. Buchanan writes to James Franklin Buchanan to say she wishes to someday meet the Mississippi Buchanans and talks of the papers she has concerning some Buchanan family lore of a large trust fund due them from an alleged ancestor in 1850's Scottland. She includes a copy she typed of an article that was written about her and her work in tracking down the trust fund that was published in the Dallas Times Herald on March 23, 1938.
