Description

In this series of letters, dated December 21, 1954 through January 3, 1955, Mississippi Attorney General J. P. Coleman writes to James Franklin Buchanan to ask him to provide him information on who in Attala County may or may not be in his favor during the upcoming election. Buchanan writes back to inform him that he is unable to fulfill that request due to the Hatch Act and directs Coleman to another man in the county who may be able to help him in which Coleman responds with his thanks.
