Description
In this letter, dated May 10, 1947, E. V. "Doc" Polk writes to James Franklin "Frank" Buchanan and his wife, Margaret, to congratulate them on the birth of their daughter, Harriet Ann. He teases them that they must be the two proudest people in the world and how he hopes the baby look like her mother. An envelope with a Jackson, Mississippi postmark and a three cent postage stamp is included.
