Description

In this letter, dated January 5, 1943, Senator Theodore G. Bilbo writes to Anna Buchanan to inform her that he'd received a letter from the Special Assistant a the U. S. Department of Agriculture and informs her that he as included the letter. The accompanying letter, dated December 28, 1942, is written to Senator Bilbo from Robert M. Moore informing Bilbo of the appointment of Anna Buchanan To the Farm Security Administration in Liberty, Mississippi as a Clerk Typist and informs Bilbo of her salary. He goes on to thank Bilbo for the recommendation. A United States Senate Committee on Agriculture envelope addressed to Miss Anna Buchanan in Liberty, Mississippi and postmarked Washington, D.C. on January 19, 1943 is included.
