Description

In this letter, Ben Hilbun, the registrar at Mississippi State College, writes to James Franklin Buchanan to him know that the enclosed transcript is sent free of charge as it is to be included in Buchanan's Armed Services applications. Hilbun goes on to express his hope that Buchanan is accepted into the branch of service he desires and wishes him the best. The letter is written on Mississippi State College letterhead and a matching envelope postmarked State College, Mississippi is included.
