Description

This greeting card, sent by Phyllis, congratulates James Franklin and Margaret Ray Buchanan on the birth of their baby, a daughter named Harriet Ann. The card features illustrations of a baby snuggled into a fluffy white pillow among blue and pink flowers. A stuffed puppy and toy ducks are also depicted. The accompanying text is a poem celebrating a new baby and the note included expresses Phyllis's joy at the news of the new baby. An envelope with a Port Arthur, Texas postmark, dated April 15, 1947, is included.
