Description

In this letter, James Franklin "Frank" Buchanan writes to Charles R. Langhorne a fellow Army veteran with whom Buchanan was stationed during World War II. Buchanan reminisces fondly of his last visit with Langhorne in Richmond in 1958, explains the inclusion of a photograph he's enclosed, and updates him on his life and others from their battalion that he's been in contact with. The included photo shows members of Co. B 3188th Signal Service Battalion on August 31, 1944. Each serviceman shown has a number written on their photo and a "key" is included to identify the men by their number.
