Description

In this letter, dated June 14, 1985, Arthur Nester, Jr., president of the Kemper County Chamber of Commerce, writes to James Franklin "Frank" and Margaret Ray Buchanan to inviting them to join in a celebration for Senator John C. Stennis's 84th birthday. The Nester informs them of the some of the planned events and lets them know that full details are forthcoming. A newspaper clipping about the event is taped to the bottom of the letter.
