Description
Engine number 382 is featured in this black and white photograph with four men standing on the tracks beside the engine and two men pictured standing and seated in the engine's cabin. Trees are seen behind the engine. A note typed on the back of the photograph identify the engine as having been the same one that Casey Jones was killed in on April 30, 1900 at Vaughn, Mississippi. The note goes on to say that the photograph was taken after the engine was rebuilt in the Paducah Shops in Paducah, Kentucky.
